Of course, technical writing requires the ability to convey information through text and graphics. Next level technical writing involves finesse:

Can sometimes dry information be engaging? What information is relevant, and what information is redundant? Is redundancy always to be avoided? Can repetition be used to increase comprehension and retention?

I try to use familiar examples and interesting graphics whenever possible to engage users.
